Hello Family... It's been a great week! Stop laughing!! Here are the new scooters. Our helmets are on order so we can be safe and I won't have to pick bugs out of my teeth and hair! We have had so much fun riding around. Isaiah, Josh, Ellie & Anna should have a lot of fun with us on the scooters! Michelle and I took them for a spin in the church parking lot yesterday. Yahoo! We have fun driving through the countryside with the scooters. The fields are so green and the scenery takes my breath away. 
Last Sunday Dad & I made a double batch of sugar cookies. Yummmmy! We took some to our neighbors and the people Dad home teaches. Jamie called and was very jealous... so we sent her this picture!
Aubrey is coming next week-end, Jamie and Aaron will be here at the end of the month, Angie & girls on July 2nd, Amanda & boys on July 13th and Brandon & Johnny around the 20th of July. Brandon & Meagan and Adam...are you coming?
Who needs Disneyland...We have Micky Strawberry right from our garden!
Memorial Day, Alain and I drove down to the Bear Lake Valley to visit the Ovid, Paris and Laketown Cemetery's. My great-grandfather John Myers Sr. and his wife are buried in Ovid, my parents are in the Paris Cemetery along with my mother's parents. There are also many, many Budge's in the Paris Cemetery. We ran into some of Alain's distant relatives and had a good chat! (By the way, this is where we are going to be buried...someday!) My dad's parents and their parents are buried in the Laketown, Utah Cemetery. My Aunt Laura lives in Laketown and we got to see her and my brother Steve. Laura showed us the property and she wants to give Alain & I. It is about an acre and a half. The property is an old orchard with several fruit trees. Laura said they were planted by my grandparents...probably in the 1920's. They still bear fruit!
I felt my heart turning towards my ancestors that day! We should be SO grateful for what was done before us so that we can have what we have today.
